I have a home in Norwalk CA and have fallen behind 3 months. The lender is Home EQ servicing, via Wells Fargo. I have paid $1500 for a loan mod. Heres what he said. He has a 2 month free ride for me and fixed my interest on the mortgage at about 1.5% lower. The servicer is also wanting $7,000 to get started. Is this a good thing.?

ReplyDeleteYou can either keep $15k and move out in 3 more months, end up with a credit score about 150 pts lower, and look for a new place, or you can play.
